Loyola Fund

The Loyola Fund

Inspired by the words of St. Ignatius — "Lord, teach me to be generous" — the Loyola Fund creates opportunity for every student at Loyola Blakefield to experience the full magnitude of his academic and spiritual journey.

More importantly, the Loyola Fund allows us to fully deliver on our Catholic, Jesuit learning experience to inspire young men to learn with purpose, lead with courage, serve with grace, and to form Men for Others at the highest level.

Why Your Support Matters

At Loyola, tuition covers only about 80% of the actual cost to educate each student. To bridge the gap — and to provide over $4.5 million in financial aid to nearly 60% of our families in 2025–26 — we rely on the generosity of our community.

Unrestricted gifts to the Loyola Fund meet the school’s most urgent needs, while designated gifts can support specific programs or initiatives.

To meet our 2025–26 goal, we must raise over $2.7 million through alumni, families, and friends. Every gift counts—and broad participation strengthens our ability to secure additional funding from foundations and other external sources.

Track Our Progress!

Support for Loyola comes in a variety of forms, and we actively engage members of our community throughout the year. While the true impact of a gift to Loyola lies in the transformation it fuels within our Dons, our total dollars raised and participation percentages serve as excellent barometer of success. To learn more about the many ways you can invest in the Loyola experience, and our Dons, contact our team and discover the extraordinary role you play in delivering our mission.

A Continued Challenge Gift in Support of our Dons

The Rollins-Luetkemeyer Foundation has presented Loyola Blakefield with a continued challenge gift opportunity in support of scholarships at Loyola to assist middle-class families who qualify for financial aid, and whose joint household incomes are between $75,000 and $150,000 annually. If Loyola can collectively raise $500,000 or more in gifts to support this scholarship initiative, the Foundation will gift Loyola $1 for every $2 contributed all in support of our Dons! If we raise $500,000, the Foundation will gift Loyola $250,000; if we raise $600,000, the Foundation will gift our school $300,000.

We are excited to share that Loyola has achieved our goal of securing $500,000!

If you are interested in learning more about this challenge gift and initiative, please contact Adam Trice, Chief Advancement Officer, at 443-841-3694 or atrice@loyolablakefield.org.

To designate your gift to this matching scholarship funding opportunity, please note "RL Scholarship Program" when making your gift.
