Night at the Yard Brings Community Together for a Memorable Evening

On Tuesday evening, Loyola Blakefield families, alumni, students, and friends packed Camden Yards for our annual Loyola Blakefield Night at the Yard, celebrating Loyola pride alongside a thrilling Orioles victory.
The night was filled with energy as Dons of all ages gathered to cheer on the O’s, reconnect with one another, and grab their special edition Loyola Blakefield x Orioles cap (a fan favorite!)

A highlight of the night was the recognition of Mr. Joe Pyzik ’80 as the recipient of the Orioles Heavy Hitter Award. A proud alum with a deep family legacy at Loyola, Joe has dedicated countless hours to supporting the school behind the scenes. As our Accounting Manager, Joe works tirelessly in our Business Office to keep the school’s financial operations running smoothly, ensuring that Loyola remains strong for generations of Dons to come.

As the Orioles clinched an exciting win, the energy in the ballpark reflected the spirit of Loyola Blakefield itself— passionate, united, and rooted in tradition.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this incredible community event. Nights like this show what it means to be a member of the Loyola Blakefield community, celebrating together, supporting one another, and making lasting memories.
