Three Loyola Blakefield Seniors Named National Merit Semifinalists

We are proud to celebrate three members of the Class of 2026—Wyatt Brown, Alex Buckler, and Conlan Heiser-Cerrato—who have been named National Merit Semifinalists by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation.

This incredible achievement places them among the top high school students in the nation, recognized for their outstanding performance on the PSAT/NMSQT. Fewer than one percent of U.S. high school juniors earn this honor each year.

As semifinalists, Wyatt, Alex, and Conlan will continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, which recognize students who exemplify academic excellence, leadership, and promise for future success.

Their recognition is a testament to their hard work and dedication, as well as the supportive community that encourages every Don to reach their full potential. We congratulate these outstanding students and look forward to cheering them on as they advance in this prestigious competition.
