Three Seniors Named Archdiocese of Baltimore Distinctive Scholars

Three Loyola Blakefield seniors have been recognized among the top Catholic high school students in the region, earning designation as Archdiocese of Baltimore Distinctive Scholars.

Conlan Heiser-Cerrato, William Nicholson, and Joseph Yared were honored during the 34th annual Distinctive Scholars Convocation, held on April 16th. This recognition celebrate the three highest-achieving seniors from each of the Catholic high schools in the Archdiocese.

Students selected as Distinctive Scholars are recognized for their exceptional academic performance, a commitment to their Catholic faith, and leadership within their school communities.

This year's ceremony brought together honorees from the 17 Catholic high schools across the region, highlighting the strength of Catholic education and the accomplishments of students who exemplify scholarship, service, and character.

Our three honorees represent Loyola's Jesuit mission of forming men with and for others, demonstrating excellence both in and out of the classroom. This recognition reflects not only their individual achievements, but also the strength of the Loyola community in fostering intellectual curiosity, faith formation, and leadership.

Join us in congratulating Conlan, William, and Joseph on this outstanding accomplishment and their contributions to our school community.
