Varsity Volleyball is one of Loyola’s most successful athletic teams. The team began play in 2001, and since then has won eight MIAA championships, more than any other MIAA school. They have gone undefeated three times and sustained a 42-match win streak during 2010–12. The team prides itself on sportsmanship, camaraderie, and fun. Several team alumni have gone on to compete in the NCAA including Ryan Quesenberry ’11—a member of three national championship teams for Springfield College and the USA World University Games team in 2013. Tim Baier ’90 is in his 16th year as head coach (19th year overall).
