Home of the Dons

Every season is an opportunity to grow as a teammate, competitor, and leader.

Loyola Athletics
Roll Dons Roll!

At Loyola Blakefield, Athletics is an extension of our Catholic, Jesuit mission to form young men who lead, serve, and compete for the greater glory of God. Rooted in the Ignatian tradition of developing the whole person — mind, body, and spirit — our athletics program shapes student-athletes into Men for Others who embody integrity, discipline, and teamwork on and off the field.

Through every practice, game, and championship pursuit, we build a brotherhood and a culture of excellence that reflects our call to use our talents in service to others and in gratitude to God.

17 Programs in the MIAA

With 17 sports competing in the Maryland Interscholastic Athletic Association (MIAA), our student-athletes face top-tier competition that pushes them to grow as players, teammates, and leaders. Here, Dons compete with integrity and build a brotherhood that lasts a lifetime.
We Win Championships

A tradition of excellence defines Loyola athletics. Our teams and student-athletes pursue championships through commitment, preparation, and a relentless drive to compete at the highest level.
We Develop Student-Athletes

Every practice, competition, and season is an opportunity for our student-athletes to grow in discipline, resilience, leadership, and character. Rooted in our Jesuit tradition, Loyola athletics prepare young men to compete with integrity and lead with purpose.
