JV Swimming Crowned MIAA Champions & Varsity Places Second

Loyola Swimming traveled to McDonogh for the MIAA Championships on Saturday where JV was crowned MIAA Champions, scoring more than 200 points in their meet, while varsity finished in second place behind McDonogh. Below are some highlights from the meet regarding All-American times.
  • 200m Medley Relay: Bednarski, Hirsch, Branon, & Reid (1:34.34) good enough to submit, but will not make All-American according to last year’s results.
  • 100m Fly: Ryan Branon (48.46) scored an automatic All-American time and would have been 30th last year.
  • 100m Back: Ryan Branon (49.74) should make All-American because the time was 88th last year.
  • 400m Free Relay: Reid, Bednarski, Myers, & Branon (3:07.14) will most likely make All-American because it was 91st last year.
